A special marketing project is one that requires a variety of marketing services that
may include graphic design, copy writing, print production, and video production.
However, all special projects must be approved by your division/department Executive
Director or Vice President. This is done to ensure that your desired project aligns
with your division/department strategies and priorities.
Requests can be submitted using the button below, or go to the PPSC portal » employee
» help center to fill out a Jira ticket request.
FOR NEW CREATIVE PROJECTS
What you, the client, must provide before work can begin:
- Essential content/messaging
- What is your goal?
- What's the most important information for the audience to know?
- What's the call to action?
- Who's the point of contact for more information?
- Target audience(s)
- Prior approval from your VP, Dean or Executive Director
- Available and approved budget for any associated costs (printing, language translation
services, digital marketing, etc.)
- Any existing assets you can share, if applicable (images, links, etc.)
- Target, in-hands deadline
- Best contact(s) for draft reviews, final project approval
What Marketing will provide:
- Initial consultation on goals, strategies and tactics
- Content editing and copy writing:
- We can help reword your messaging to make it grammatically correct and more engaging,
but we still need the original content/key information from you, the client.
- Design will not begin until content is 95% approved/finalized.
- Once Marketing proposes a first draft, we'll engage the client for no more than two
rounds of edits before finalizing.
