Integrated Marketing Communication

PPSC follows an integrated marketing communication approach, meaning we strive for consistency across all communication platforms. In addition to traditional media and public relations efforts we also create campaigns that show the value of PPSC by highlighting our exceptional staff and students. Our campaigns reach a broad audience through radio, video, web, billboards and social media.

We also offer support through internal communication. For departments this means we can help promote events, collaborate to create a unique brand, or provide direction to help create a stronger web presence for your department. We do not promote individual classes.

Services We Provide to Departments

Everything we provide internally starts with our request system—including: publicity/event promotion, video, and design. We receive a lot of requests and want to give them all equal treatment and the request system helps us do that. Fill out a request at least two weeks in advance for small announcements. For larger events please fill out a request as early as possible so we can ensure ample time to meet deadlines, contact the press or provide graphics.

We provide electronic downloads and resources like flyer and PowerPoint templates, PPSC logos, and brand guidelines that include our approved colors and fonts that you can download, including a social media policy.

FAQs

We manage the PPSC brand by developing and implementing advertising campaigns, internal communications efforts (e.g. The Stall Street Journal, campus TVs), media relations, website content, and social media. We are also responsible for creating printed materials to assist recruitment efforts, foundation efforts, and programs.

Please visit our self service design guide to learn how to use Adobe Express for your design needs.

Our photo library is currently hosted on Pics.ioPLEASE give credit to the photographer for any photos stored in a named folder (e.g....., "by Jane Doe"). Many of our photos have been taken by PPSC photography students and we want to credit their work. If you have questions about photos, please email Marketing@pikespeak.edu

The short answer is no. We want to give everyone the opportunity to promote their departments, clubs, and events to the largest possible audience so we push most social media content out through the main PPSC Facebook page. Connect with Matt and he'll talk through your goals and work with you to make them happen.

Contact the Centennial Campus Bookstore for all your swag needs. If these items will be used at a student or employee recruitment event, the Recruitment Department may also be able to help.

FAQs

Fill out a publicity request 3 weeks prior to your event and we will get that info in The Stall Street Journal (published every two weeks) and on the campus TVs, the website event calendar, and social media. If it is open to the public we will also create listings in online community calendars around the city (Peak RadarColorado Springs IndependentThe Gazette).

Please complete and submit a Website Content Update Request with the details (feel free to attach a Word document or another summarized document if that's easiest).
