Get the support you need to succeed in college

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) helps eligible students stay on track, graduate, and transfer to a four-year college or university. All services are FREE to students.

Our mission is to support students in achieving their academic and educational goals by providing structured academic support, coaching, and skill-building services that promote persistence and completion.

You may be eligible if you meet one or more of the following:

  • First-generation college student (neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree)
  • Income-eligible based on federal guidelines
  • Have a documented disability (self-disclosed on application)

Additional Information:

  • Students who already hold a degree are not eligible (certificates are okay)
  • Students may participate in TRIO and other college programs at the same time

TRIO provides support to help students succeed and reach their goals:

  • One-on-one academic advising and success coaching
  • Course selection and academic planning
  • Tutoring support
  • FAFSA and scholarship assistance
  • Career exploration and planning
  • Transfer advising and university campus tours
  • Skill-building workshops
  • Cultural events

Program Expectations

  • Students are required to participate in at least one TRIO event or workshop per academic year to remain active in the program.

  • In-person advising: Monday–Wednesday, by appointment only
  • Virtual advising: Monday–Friday
  • Appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure timely service

Front Desk Support

Front desk assistance is available during office hours for general questions.

  • Monday–Thursday: 8am – 5pm
  • Friday: 9am. – 5pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: Closed
