More than you might think. PPSC’s Business, Technology and Public Service Pathway can take you to places where people check in, dine out, and make a business run smoothly. This pathway is for people who like to make deals, deal with customers, and for those who want to serve the public.
The knowledge and skill sets I gained at PPSC were necessary tools in becoming the business owner I am today. The small classroom setting granted us valuable face time with our Chef instructors that wouldn’t have been possible in a larger school environment.
Money makes the world go around and you’ll be at the heart of it. Learn to analyze and report on complex business transactions and to make sound financial decisions for any organization. You’ll understand the practical concepts and software to do this and more. You’ll be ready for jobs in bookkeeping, accounting, or go for your bachelor’s degree to become a Certified Public Accountant.

Combine your creativity and love of food in a constantly growing field. You’ll learn a dizzying array of skills from our experienced chef-instructors to launch any culinary career. You’ll learn about wines and how to make cocktails, gain mad knife skills, create sweet delights and savory dishes using a variety of techniques. Food safety, food service management, and dietary cuisine knowledge are also on the menu.

Communities around the globe need skilled people committed to respond to a natural disaster, a terrorist event, or a public-health emergency to ensure the preservation of life and property. PPSC’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree will equip you to become a skilled and competent emergency response leader.

If you have a passion for advocacy and helping others, social work can be a rewarding career. You could pursue a job as a probation officer, substance abuse counselor or victims advocate associate. And, with an advanced degree you could become licensed social worker, rehabilitation counselor and child welfare case worker, among others.
