New Student Orientation
Review what your student is learning when they attend New Student Orientation. Orientation
is online and on-demand so you (and your student) can "attend" whenever is convenient
for you.
All new students must complete the orientation before registering for classes.
To get started with New Student Orientation as a parent or family member:Financial Aid includes grants, scholarships, and loans. Financial Aid starts with filing a FAFSA or CASFA. Pikes Peak financial aid advisors are available to answer your questions and help you complete the FAFSA or CASFA.

Every student should submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) regardless of their financial situation. If a student is not eligible to complete the FAFSA based on citizenship status, they can complete a Colorado Application for Student Financial Aid (CASFA). Completing a financial aid application will aid your student when it is time to complete the Pikes Peak State College scholarship application and apply for any jobs on campus. The Pikes Peak State College Foundation awards more than $1.2 million in scholarships to Pikes Peak students each year.
FERPA gives students certain rights with respect to their education records. Your student can complete the Student Consent Record Release to authorize Pikes Peak State to release information to specific individuals.
Your student should work closely with their academic advisor when registering for classes each semester to make sure they are on track for graduation or transfer to a four-year school.
Students who choose to participate in our free tutoring services receive better grades on average. They also learn skills and strategies individualized to their learning preferences to help them become better students overall.

The Colorado Promise Tax Credit offers a tuition reimbursement in the form a tax credit for your first two years of college. You may be eligible if your family income is $90,000 or less. Learn more about eligibility requirements and how it works if you think you qualify.
