Testing Center Services

The Testing Center is committed to providing exceptional, accessible, and comprehensive testing services for Pikes Peak State College and the surrounding community. All tests are administered under standardized conditions that are efficient, fair, and secure. We maintain and adhere to all standards set forth in the National College Testing Association’s Professional Standards & Guidelines.

All students using the Testing Center must present a current, valid, physical picture ID: PPSC, State, or Federal Government. Digital ID's are not accepted at this time.

Test takers must have an appointment to test. Walk-ins are not allowed at this time. Students can use the links below to schedule an appointment.

Placement Options

Discover the best way to enroll in classes based on your skills.

Most students are not required to take the placement test to enroll in class at Pikes Peak State College. You can either enroll in co-requisite classes or challenge for placement into college-level classes. Review your options and meet with an advisor if you have questions about the best option for you!

College Credit Exams

Earn college credits for what you already know and save time and money. CLEP and DSST exams are available to adult learners, college students, high school students and military personnel.

Make-up Testing

If you weren't able to make a scheduled test or exam for your class, you may be able to work with your instructor to take a make-up exam in the Testing Center.

Certification Testing

The Testing Center offers certification testing through Pearson Vue, TEAS, Comira, ProV, Kryterion, and other. Prove your skills and advance your career.

GED Testing

The Testing Center at Pikes Peak State College offers GED testing through Pearson Vue. 

The GED Test makes it possible for qualified individuals to earn a high school credential, thus providing opportunities for hundreds of thousands of adults

Proctoring for Other Colleges & Universities

The Testing Center at PPSC is currently NOT offering proctoring services for people who are taking a course(s) at another college or university and who need to test under supervision.
