The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Pikes Peak State College focuses on providing high-quality, relevant, and practical professional development for faculty and instructors. CETL’s committee is made up of career and technical education and transfer faculty, academic services, and student services.
CETL's programs and initiatives are not possible without the committee made up of
representatives from the entire college. CETL committee members provide regular feedback,
volunteer at events, and help support CETL's mission.
Program coordinators oversee each professional development program. These coordinators
offer events, workshops, seminars, and other training throughout the academic year
for the following programs:
CETL Champions serve in each division to help connect programming to the direct needs of the academic departments. With a direct connection to each division, champions provide training during division meetings, keep divisions up-to-date, and bring back vital professional development needs to the CETL committee.
CETL offices and classroom spaces are located at the Centennial (eLearning CETL office in A229, the CETL classroom in A225) and Rampart Campuses (E213L).
