Majid Arjomandi, M.A., University of Colorado at Colorado Springs
Majid (M.J.) Arjomandi originally hails from California. He graduated high school
in Canon City, CO, before attending the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. He
earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication while also minoring in Pre-Law and Political
Science in 2010. He then continued his education as he earned a Master's degree in
Communication, with an emphasis in Media Studies from UCCS in 2014. He began announcing
all home sporting events for the university while pursuing his graduate degree, which
is a position he still holds today. He started his teaching career in 2011 while en
route to earning a Master's degree, and fell in love with this profession. He started
teaching with Pikes Peak in Spring of 2015 and has taught classes on all three major
campuses, as well as at Pikes Peak Early College. MJ is very passionate about helpings
students succeed and accomplish their goals, and was honored with the 2020 Rocky Mountain
Athletic Conference Faculty Mentor Award. MJ claims to be happily married to his profession,
and says he has hundreds of children as he believes every student is one of his kids.
