Dr. Marty Rush

Dr. Marty Rush is an Adjunct Professor of Communications at Pikes Peak State College. He served nearly 25 years in the United States Air Force and retired in 2018 as a Chief Master Sergeant. Marty enlisted in the military as a radio/TV broadcaster where he worked for the American Forces Network overseas for fifteen years. His assignments took him to Italy, Korea, Japan, the Azores, Germany, Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan. All toll he has been fortunate to visit or live in 46 countries and is an avid traveler since his retirement from the military. The last ten years of Marty’s Air Force career focused on program management as well as training, resourcing, and equipping the hundreds of members of the Public Affairs career field. After the military Marty took a job with Frontgrade Technologies as a program manager, overseeing the design, development, and manufacturing of semiconductors specially designed for space applications such as GPS satellites, the NASA space shuttle, and other space assets. Marty is currently the Senior Manager of Programs and Applications Engineering and oversees a program portfolio totaling more than ninety-seven million dollars. 

Marty completed his doctorate in 2023 and his dissertation focused on teleworking and how to best maintain synergy, teamwork, and communication in an online environment.
