Adrienne Vigil Ed.D., Argosy University - Denver
Adrienne is a Part Time Professor of Communication Arts at Pikes Peak State College
(PPSC) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Adrienne is a native of the Colorado Springs
area with a brief move to Pennsylvania from 2012-2014 and Arizona from 2014-2017.
During this time, she had the opportunity to teach at Grand Canyon University as an
Adjunct Instructor as well as maintain her lifelong career in Healthcare Revenue.
Adrienne previously taught in the Communications Department at PPCC from 2000-2016
and for UCCS intermittently starting in 2012.
Adrienne’s philosophy of teaching emphasizes a positive learning environment in which respect for others promotes intellectual diversity. She believes in classroom engagement and applying knowledge that will help students be successful in achieving both classroom and life goals using material, opportunities, and feedback to contribute to a conducive learning model. As an online and face-to-face educator, Adrienne is very enthusiastic and committed to excellence in teaching.
Adrienne loves animals, traveling and spending time with family. Her overall goal in life is to make a difference, which is best said by Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
