PPSC's Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Emergency Service Administration program prepares you for leadership roles in both governmental and private emergency services. Whether responding to a terrorist event, natural disaster, or public health emergency, you'll gain the theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed to enhance community resilience and effectively manage emergencies. The BAS Emergency Service Administration degree offers a comprehensive educational program to prepare a new generation of leaders in the field of emergency services in both governmental agencies and private sectors. Students must complete an Associates of Applied Science degree with a minimum of 60 credits in one of the following or similar degree before applying to the BAS degree: Criminal Justice, Emergency Management & Planning, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science Technology, Fire Science Wildland, or Public Security Management.
