Background

Michelle Fenicle
M.A., Southwest Minnesota State University

I grew up in Iowa and began my educational journey by attending Southwest Minnesota State University for my bachelor's degree. In 2000 at the ripe age of 22, I moved to northern Minnesota to teach middle and high school for three years before being swept off my feet in marriage. We became transplant natives in 2003 to the colorful Colorado to teach here in Colorado Springs at various high schools along the Pikes Peak Region. Receiving my Masters in English Secondary Education in 2012 through Southwest Minnesota State University assured my desire to move into collegiate teaching. In 2016 I helped establish the Concurrent Enrollment program for one of the school districts in Colorado Springs. I currently am teaching both high school and concurrent enrollment classes which I love dearly. I love to explore Colorado and the world with my husband of 20 years and 3 children.
