Ted Otero, Psy.D., served and taught in the Air Force for 23 years. An instructor pilot, he also taught Human Factors in Aviation at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in their remote learning program. As an I/O psychologist, specializing in organizational leadership, his interests include leadership styles and their effects on subordinates. Ted began teaching at PPSC in January 2021 and instructs in General Psychology, Human Growth and Development, and Abnormal Psychology. As a pilot, he flew for US Airways in a B-737 and later at Jetblue Airways as a captain on the Airbus-320 and -321 aircraft. He still flies for International Jet Aviation Services in Centennial, CO piloting Lear 60 and Challenger 350 aircraft while also teaching at PPSC.
