Speech Meet

Showcase Your Public Speaking Skills

We are excited to announce Speech Meet,  a new annual event at PIkes Peak State College designed to showcase students' public speaking skills.

This first-ever college-wide speech contest invites Pikes Peak State College students to compete in extemporaneous speaking, where they will deliver persuasive speeches. The contest is open to all part-time and full-time students. Participants will need to demonstrate solid public speaking skills, following the National Speaker Association's eight competencies. The goal is to showcase our students' speaking abilities, give our top speakers valuable contest experience, and raise awareness among students, staff, and the community about the importance of public speaking skills.
