The Division of Business, Technology & Public Service (BTPS) is an academic division at PPSC comprised of diverse academic departments ranging from Accounting to Social Work.

    • Supplemental Instructional Documents (Grant Opportunity Application, Disclosure of Outside Employment, CTE notice of non-discrimination, special project request form)
    • Academic Employment Documents (PPSC Faculty/Instructor Minimum Qualifications, generic job descriptions for some key roles in instructional services area)
    • Syllabi Information (master course syllabi and institutional syllabus)
  • The Online Resources page provides a wealth of information and links to the CETL site (to support faculty/instructors in creating a robust learning environments for students), resources for online meeting platforms (Zoom, Webex, Teams, etc.), communication in the online environment (tools and functions), Office 365 information (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.), video lectures help, and more.

  • The Educational Procedures (EP’s) directory contains the approved guidelines and rules for a variety of Academic processed that serve as regulations and procedural guides for the Instructional Services division. Educational Procedures (EPs) are reviewed and updated periodically at the direction of the Vice President for Instructional Services. Some common educational procedures useful for department chairs:

  • The Program Review page contains guidance on how to complete a program review, expectations, PPSC review flow, additional resources and information about annual review snapshot.

  • The Curriculum Committee page contains important resources for course & program submissions, a meetings' schedule as well as a list of Curriculum Committee Officers at PPSC.

  • Please refer to the Instructional Calendar for important dates such as full and abbreviated semester dates, faculty duty days, drop dates, no show due dates, grades due dates, etc.
