If you are a veteran, you may be eligible for a variety of education benefits.

For each of the benefit types below, you will follow the same checklist to receive and maximize your benefits.

VA Benefits

Benefit for: 
  • CH30 Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty: For active duty members who enroll and pay $100 per month for 12 months are entitled to receive a monthly education benefit once they have completed a minimum service obligation. You can use this benefit as a veteran as well.

  • CH31 Veteran Readiness and Employment: Also referred to as VR&E, you may be eligible to receive services to help with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and coaching on skills to help you find a job.

  • CH33 Post 9/11 GI Bill®: If you have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after September 10, 2001, and you are honorably discharged or you were discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days, you may be eligible for this benefit.

  • CH1606 Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve: If you’re a member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard Reserve, Army National Guard, or Air National Guard, you may be eligible.
