Our Dental Assisting program is dedicated to serving the community and giving students great opportunities to give back. As a student, you can get involved with the campus and the wider Colorado Springs area. These activities show PPSC's commitment to helping others and let you make a real difference while gaining valuable experience!

Dental Assisting Club

PPSC has a Dental Assisting Club where you can connect with local dentists through guest speaker events. The club also organizes field trips, community service projects, and fundraising events. Students can get involved with the Colorado Mission of Mercy, a large-scale free dental clinic that helps underserved communities.

The Delta Dental Oral Health Career Center at Pikes Peak State College offers a wide range of preventive and therapeutic dental services for adults and children through our Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs.

Charitable contributions

Participating in the Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) each year in Colorado is an excellent opportunity to serve the underserved in our community. PPSC Dental Assisting students help to provide nearly 1 million dollars of free dental care every year while gaining real-world experience.
