Pikes Peak State College is Partnering with Patton Veterans Project to bring an “I was there” film workshop to Colorado Springs!
These workshops provide space for Veterans to participate in a filmmaking workshop with other veterans and world-class filmmakers. This free, 3-day workshop teaches filmmaking as a therapeutic pathway for veterans dealing with personal, physical, or psychological issues/stresses, strengthen family, community and professional bonds. Participant spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so register now!
When: October 4-6, 2024. The screening will be held on November 12, 2024.
Where: Peak State College Centennial Campus (5675 S. Academy Blvd.).

Could you use additional income? Would you like to help students transform their lives? Good news! We are currently accepting VA work-study applications!
We will take your used books and lend them to other military-connected students in need. Textbooks are free to check out every semester and must be returned the week after finals.
Our library has been stocked by donations from the Pikes Peak State campus community. You can help us develop our library by donating your old textbooks. The larger the collection, the more military affiliated students we can help. If you would like to donate, bring your old textbooks to MVP (C222) anytime during business hours.
If you are in need of a book, please follow the steps below:
After creating your account you will be able to browse our selection of books. Please
note, placing a reservation request does not confirm availability. Once you request
the book, we will email you whether your book(s) are or are not available to be picked
up within 2 business days.
If you have used the Lending Library before and already have an account, please skip
the steps listed above and log in HERE.
Books are first come, first served. We cannot ship books to students. You must be able to pick them up in person at the Centennial Campus (C222). If you do not pick up your book(s) within 2 business days of notification, we will issue them to the next student in the queue.
